Nursing Graduates (RN)

IWK Health is seeking new Registered Nursing graduates to join its interdisciplinary care teams across a variety of service areas in Halifax. This role provides patient and family-centred care while supporting new nurses through IWK’s dedicated Nursing Residency Program and transition-to-practice mentorship. Opportunities are available on a permanent, temporary, and casual basis, with Fall 2026 start dates.

The ideal candidate is a recent or upcoming graduate of a recognized nursing program who is registered or eligible for registration with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing, and who is looking for a supported transition into practice within a teaching hospital environment.

Hourly rate: $35.06 per hour (conditional licence) to $40.55 per hour (active-practising licence).
