Personal Care Worker

The North End Community Health Centre is hiring a Personal Care Worker, a part-time designated position for African Nova Scotian / African Descent applicants. This frontline role supports tenants in a 24/7 supportive-housing environment, providing person-centered care, mental-health and substance-use support, and trauma-informed services within a Housing First and harm-reduction framework.

Responsibilities include delivering direct care and on-demand support to tenants, contributing to a safe and consistent living environment, and working collaboratively as part of a supportive-housing team.

Designation: This is a designated position, open to applicants who identify as African Nova Scotian and/or of African Descent.

Location: Halifax, NS. Employment type: Part-time.
