Secretary 3 (Administrative Assistant) (Designated)
The Department of African Nova Scotian Affairs (Government of Nova Scotia) is seeking a Secretary 3 (Administrative Assistant) to support the Land Titles Initiative by providing administrative, financial, and records-management support. Responsibilities include managing correspondence, invoices, and client files; procurement; meeting coordination; and liaising with staff, lawyers, surveyors, and community stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have experience in office administration, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, along with an understanding of the African Nova Scotian community and its land-title history. Experience in a legal setting or with case-management software is considered an asset.
Salary: $2,123.03–$2,348.18 bi-weekly.
Designation: This is a designated position, open only to applicants who identify as African/Black Nova Scotian or other Racialized Persons.
