The Department of Opportunities and Social Development is looking for Child & Youth Care Practitioners for its relief roster in New Glasgow.
Practitioners support children and youth in care who are dealing with emotional, behavioural and trauma related challenges. The work includes mentorship, therapeutic programming, crisis intervention, advocacy and community based support, while helping youth build life skills and healthy relationships.
This is a relief (as needed) position with no guaranteed hours. Pay ranges from $27.28 to $36.09 per hour.
