The Halifax Regional Centre for Education (HRCE) is hiring a full-time, permanent Controls Technician based in Dartmouth with Operations Services. You'll install, repair, maintain and upgrade the energy management systems and HVAC equipment across HRCE buildings, troubleshoot electrical, electronic and pneumatic controls, and respond to system alarms.
What they're looking for:
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- A diploma or certification in a building controls trade (building systems technician, electronics technician, construction electrician, instrument and controls technician, or equivalent)
- Experience with building automation (BACnet preferred), pneumatic controls or HVAC is an asset
- Valid Nova Scotia driver's licence
- Red Seal in a related field is an asset
