Dental Laboratory Manager — Cast Partial Department
Pro-Dent Laboratory Ltd. is seeking an experienced Dental Laboratory Manager to lead its Cast Partial Department in Halifax. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing workflow, reviewing and assigning incoming cases, inspecting the quality of cast partial frameworks, maintaining production schedules, training new staff, and assisting hands-on with technical work such as framework design, wax-up and metal finishing.
A minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience in a Cast Partial Department is mandatory, covering framework fabrication, design and finishing. Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a dental laboratory is strongly preferred, along with a solid understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion and removable prosthetics. A Dental Technology diploma or equivalent experience is preferred. With over 40 years in business, Pro-Dent is a full-service lab providing restorative and prosthetic dental solutions across Atlantic Canada.
Hourly rate: $32.50–$35.00 per hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits include a co-pay health plan (medical, dental, vision), future access to the company RRSP plan, and paid vacation and holiday leave. Schedule is Monday to Friday, day shifts only.
