Denture Technician

Pro-Dent Laboratory Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Denture Technician for its full-service dental lab in Halifax, with a strong focus on aesthetic waxing and trimming. The successful candidate will handle both conventional and digitally designed denture cases from setup through final finishing, ensuring dentures not only fit comfortably but also look natural.

Responsibilities include aesthetic waxing of full and partial denture setups for try-ins, Ivocap processing of waxed dentures, trimming, contouring and polishing processed or 3D-printed dentures, arranging denture teeth for functional and cosmetic precision, creating custom trays, wax rims and bite blocks, and assisting with repairs, relines and occlusal adjustments. A minimum of two years’ experience in denture fabrication is required, along with demonstrated strength in aesthetic waxing and trimming and in-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and occlusion.

Hourly rate: $22.00–$26.00 per hour, based on experience, quality and efficiency. Benefits include a co-pay health plan (medical, dental, vision), future access to the company RRSP plan, and vacation and holiday pay. Schedule is Monday to Friday, day shifts only.
