The Downtown Halifax Business Commission (DHBC) is looking for a Placemaking Manager to lead public space improvement projects, community activations, events and placemaking initiatives throughout Downtown Halifax.
The role suits someone with education and experience in urban planning, community development, urban design, landscape architecture, events or a related field, along with strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills. The Placemaking Manager also supervises the Downtown Halifax Crew.
Flexible hours are required, including some evenings and weekends for events and seasonal programming.
